CHRISTINA CATALANO
KITCHEN & BATH DESIGNER
Christina is a creative designer who believes in the power of beautiful and functional homes, that will have a positive impact on her clients’ lives.
Coming from a family with an artistic background, her love of art and design was fostered from a very young age. Christina graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Illinois Institute of Art.
Immediately out of college she was scouted and hired by a highly-respected high-end interior designer out of Arlington Heights.
Her first nine years of high-end residential remodeling experience created a solid foundation of skills and construction knowledge. She has had the opportunity to design many beautiful homes throughout the Chicagoland area as well as some out of state projects in Vermont and Colorado.
Projects ranging from custom kitchen remodels, to completely redesigning entire homes while working alongside architects, to creating custom furniture and furnishings. Throughout the years, she has gone to designer training seminars at various manufacturing facilities, such as Wolf/Sub Zero, Thermador, and cabinet manufacturing facilities. She has attended the High Point Furniture Market yearly, where they feature all the newest products and latest trends. Her experience and wide range of knowledge helps her educate her clients throughout the remodeling process.
She has a well-trained eye for quality, craftsmanship, space planning, symmetry, color and most of all, attention to detail. She prides herself in being methodical in her thought process. She has a unique and creative ability to transform a nonfunctional space into a home that lives comfortably, by maximizing the layout and creating proper flow of space.
Each project speaks to her client’s own interests and lifestyle as they will work together to ensure the design is thoroughly thought out and detailed for their specific needs.
She possesses an innate desire to deliver above clients expectations and feels truly grateful for clients trusting her with their project.
She continues to grow her love for design and knowledge, by working for Prestige Kitchen and Bath since 2020. She continues to be recognized for her timeless style and designs that allow her clients to enjoy their home for many years to come.
When she is not working, she is spending quality time with her husband and three beautiful children.
“Home is where the heart is. It is where memories are made and families grow. I went into design, knowing I wanted to have an impact on people’s lives. Being there for my clients throughout their remodeling journey and seeing their satisfaction and gratitude is what makes my job truly meaningful. Family is everything and when you have a home that your family can grow in and feel good about it, that is the ultimate goal.“
