We removed a wall to open up the entry off of the garage and created an open concept butler’s pantry for entertaining and family gatherings. There were some unexpected challenges in this project with removing the wall. We uncovered poor structural framing as well as hidden HVAC feeding to the upstairs.
But with some flexibility to the design and creative problem solving, the end result and original intent of the design was accomplished. The timeless quality and aesthetic this kitchen displays will be enjoyed for years to come.

We changed the gameplan for turning the corner with the backsplash. Originally, it was going to go half the way up and turn the corner, but once we started installing, both the designer and client decided to make some changes and have it go all the way up and not turn the corner which was the right call.
